UNDERSTANDING THE LABEL
Each batch of Barrel Proof bears a unique age statement, including the month and year of
the youngest barrel in the bottling. The proof also varies with each release.
If you have a release from 2025 or earlier, the letter of the batch number indicates the order
of the release for that year, starting with "A.” The first number represents the month of the
release, and the third and fourth digits indicate the year.

Instead of following a set schedule, we let the barrels tell us when they're ready. The
label features an alpha-numeric month (A-L) and a chronological batch number dating back to
the start of the program. For example, H-40 indicates it was selected in August (H) as the
40th batch.
